Children in the Third World have the capacity to change their own lives through sheer grit and determination without the need for constant handouts. We firmly believe in the idea of “Give a child a fish and you feed them for a day, but give them a fishing rod and you can feed them for a lifetime.”

Any machines or resources that you can donate will be used time and time again to allow hundreds of children and young people to escape destitution and crime. It will not only change their lives for the better, but also the lives of their families – and contribute to the development of their own nation.

Widows urgently need a means of supporting themselves. We help here too. StreetLites Africa has funded a self-help scheme so that groups of widows can produce traditional African cloths to sell.
